Day-wise itinerary — 8 Days · 7 Nights

Day 1Kangra → Manali

Drive to Manali (≈ 7 hr) to acclimatise.
Day 2Manali → Kaza

Through the Atal Tunnel and over the Kunzum Pass, with a detour to Chandratal when the road is open.
Day 3Key, Kibber & Chicham

Key Monastery, Kibber village and the Chicham bridge.
Day 4Langza, Hikkim & Komic

The Buddha of Langza, Hikkim's high post office and Komic village.
Day 5Kaza → Dhankar → Tabo

Dhankar monastery and the thousand-year-old Tabo monastery.
Day 6Tabo → Nako → Kalpa

Nako lake, then into Kinnaur with Kalpa's view of Kinner Kailash.
Day 7Kalpa → Shimla

Down the Sutlej via Sarahan or Narkanda.
Day 8Shimla → Drop

Drop at Chandigarh or back to Kangra.
